The pencil is done wrong. See if you can find the mistake. (the fact that it does not have woodgrains isn't the mistake, but yeah...)

There are so few Higashi no Eden scans on the internet and virtually zero wallpapers. So I thought I'd contribute.
I'm a huge fan of the show and an even bigger fan of the OP and ED sequences. Production IG at its finest.
The concept is taken from the ED while the text is a quote from Shakespeare, featured prominently throughout the show. I fail at digital painting and the crumpled/torn paper really gave me hell.
IF YOU LIKE THE WALL, CHECK OUT THE VIDEO. VERY MUCH RELATED.
A good way to waste pristinely white paper.

The ripped paper is done really nicely
if you correct that part where the black and sharpened part meets on the pencil
would look much better
i think the character placement is interesting but it could have worked better
if it was a integral part of the main design

I've actually been meaning to be the first to wall EotE, but I guess you beat me to it (lol me) I think the shadows on Saki and Akira are a bit too smooth to fit the degree of 3D-ness and flat lighting of the peice (your pencil being my primary basis) and I find it weird that the upper bit of the tear is glowing but otherwise since I can't find the supposed error in your digital pencil, thumbs up for this being great promotional material~ Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Shakespeare quote you used is also on the Noblesse Oblige phone seal?
Anyhow, it only doubles the coolness of this piece. Eden of the East FTW!!

Higashi no Eden is easily my favorite show of the season. It's a shame that it is only going to be a dozen or so episodes though, since all of us non-japanese people will have to wait for a DVD release before we can see the movie/conclusion of the story (I'd assume).
