After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I learned of yet another PS feature, that is quite useful in vectoring and I just had to try it out. This wall is the result :) It doesn't look special or different then my other vectors but is faster, a bit easier, drastically reduces number of layers (and that also makes it easier for my comp to handle :P) and gives some more possibilities :)
Original scan:
Time spent - about 4 days
Hardest part - Kyou
Easiest part - Nagisa
Program used - Photoshop CS4 (obviously ;p)
All resolutions available, and imo best viewed on 5:4 :O (unexpected, ws are usually best ;P)
Other than a clean vector job, there isn't really anything else that is impressive about this wallpaper. It is because the wallpaper is essentially just vectoring over a scan and cropping it out to wallpaper size. From what I see, the clouds in the background are lifted directly off the scan itself. That in the end when looked at, gives a rather generic feel to the overall work.
It would have been much better to at least incorporate some original ideas into the background to spruce it up.
The vector looks really nice, especially Kyou's hair. The wall is very clean and simple, which is a concept I love. :) The only thing I don't like is the colors; they look too color burned to me. Everyone's skin tone is yellow. It would look nicer if the overall colors were softer, I think.
Amazingly well done! I like all of their poses and the background that you choose. I have to have this as my background; I simply can’t stand the cuteness of them. Thanks for posting it on the site and keep up the good work!
I think is not needed that I write about how good you vector, almost like me muhahaha. Nice close-up group wallpaper which goes to my desktop now. The only thing what I could mention, to change a bit the clouds. Rest fine.

some idea like add some flower in front, or made some camera snapshot, though the bg changes is unnecessary cause all three chars are in whole wall, no big changes if you give detail to the bg
but one plus point is this wall available in all res^^
I think this is one of those cases where there is too much hard, overpowering black and it would have been beneficial to use colored lineart. They're in bright sunlight; use colors to your advantage. :) More shine/reflections on the eyes would make the wall more lively too.
Adorable close-up with great vectoring; my only complaint is the yellow behind Tomoya. Since there are no close-up flowers in the wallpaper, the "far away" flower effect just looks like a random patch of yellow.
I'm personally a fan of simple vectored walls. ^^
