Ahem, now that I got some sleep, I decided to edit this. XD
And I guess it's not too gory since it's still here, lol.
Anyway, I really liked the scan, so I vectored the lines, painted the rest, added feathers and text. I actually didn't realize myself his arm was cut off until I started coloring everything. I was like: "Lalala...wait...is that......zomg, it is! :O "
Well, going with most of the suggestions about blood and wall, I removed the 'lighting' on the blood spatters and added a bit of the textures on the wall. Hope it looks better now. :)

Blood splatters I think is generally well done but I don't think blood will shine under any lighting. The highlights of the blood on the wall makes it feel as if it is pooling up and sticking to the wall without dripping down.
But I like the feather, I like the blood in his face an his clothe..
That's make him so impressive I think...
Is he still alive?? hahaha...

This wallpaper is just...lovely < 3 the outlines are neat without being too stiff, and the painting is gorgeous~ the only thing I might complain about is the blood...the white shine on some parts make it seem too 3D, but the rest is just the smexyness :D

That's a smexy scan you chose there! I love the way you did the blood.
The only thing is that the wall seems too clean. Maybe you can do what Dias suggested to give it a more worn out rocky look. Everything else is < 3 though.

Aside from that, I like the vector lining. It's clean and smooth. The blood and feathers are a good addition to the goriness. But, I would say it needs some textures to look better.
Anyway, it's good enough for a 4am work.

I love the blood in the feathers... awesome. However, the background looks very simple in comparison to the other superb details of the paper.

I must say I LOVE the vector (and the bishie >.>) but the one thing that's bugging me is his wound, it just doesn't look very realistic to me. Then again that might actually be a good thing for the, you know, squeamish.

Dunno about textures, but I like it as it too. Vector is nice and smooth and colors look good too. Maybe text isn't that great but oh well
