This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This wallpaper was done with the programs: PSP-9 and PS-CS.
Game: Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken (7)
Character: Swordmaster Karel (a.k.a.: Demon of Swords)
Layers: About 43
Time: Around a week of work (5-7 hours).
Theme: I tried to create an atmosphere of death and war. The red and yellow colors in the sky represents fire (which is something that almost always acompanies wars, which then produced death). The dragon in the backgroud is fighting with the small wyvern in an attempt to defend its territory. Karel, on his part, stands alone with his weapon in hand letting his bloodlust fills his body as he waits for someone to attack him without caring about the beasts behind the mountains.

The hot sky is really kool, it almost seems like its a flowly wave of magma in the sky ^^ I think the character would have been better off without the dragon... or just blurr it a bit so its not too in the way. The grass also has a nice texture
Hey look it's TG. XD Anyway I love the wallpaper the hot colors just make it stand out. You always had a way with making things stand out. Awesome awesome I like it. It's full with impack

Whew its a lot of red contrast here, but it looks great. the grass looks a bit weird, but i think thats cool how theres dragons and the background looks really good. nice work ^^
Awesome! Excellent colors & superb integration of the fore- and background. I really like it. The overall feeling is great. And the resolution is soo high ^^ thank you for this great wall (+fav).

Its warm and got real depth, I played Fire Emblem also. Anyway great work although something bout the grass that doesnt seem to comply with me. Well anyway ignore me, I aint too good with grasss xD.
The images are very pretty, and the sky looks nice, but everything is just too red (kinda hurts my eyes >_<").
It you'd tone down the brightness and the yellowish red tint, and make it darker, I think this will look even more awesome.
Nice job anyway ^^
I like the strong red colours you used and the dinos and dragons behind look really realistic and fit the scene very good.
Maybe the gras needs a little bit more shading because it looks a bit unreal.
anyway - very good concept :)
Nice work on the sky and the dragons. great choice on the colour scheme as well, really looks like an inferno, the sky is on fire!
overall, it's a great wall with nice compositions of everything, just that i find the mountains are in odd shapes and texture.
nice work!
