As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Hello AP people! After almost a month I'm back with a new submition.

This wallpaper is dedicated to STRAAWBEERYY<3 emoticon Happy b-day dear, wish you all the best in the upcoming year ^^

About the wall itself...hmmm, nothing what I tought it would be. Especially C.C.'s hair. Is the first time I painted (or vectored) a character with long hair. I prefer short hair (much easier to vector), but I love long hair.
I painted the whole wall (except the outlines of course XD ), even the birds. It kinda looks crappy I know, but I just started learning how to paint, that's why.

I have no idea what to say really...
I modified the scan a little bit. I left out the chain (I hate chains) and added some more colours to the sky. I normally painted the rest of the scan.

Time spent: eee...about 28h maybe?
Layers/shapes: 219/367
Easiest part: painting Lelouch's cape I guess?
Hardest part: the f****** birds and C.C.'hair
Original scan: THIS SCAN (of a lower quality)

I don't really like how C.C or Lelouch's hair was painted
but everything else is nicely done. Nice job~

I think you did a great job on the painting and vectoring
but i feel some parts could use more emphasize
and other parts a too blurred

I could've sworn someone else already made a wall out of this scan, but after searching and not being able to find it, oh well. XP
Your lineart is very good and smooth. If there's anything to improve I guess it would be to make the brush strokes a bit...cleaner hmm. Cause it looks a bit patchy and not as smooth as it could I think. Good job overall though.

Agree with nysha someone that ever wall this is, if i'm not mistaken stellar, but now she (or he) already deleted all of her/his wallpaper *sigh*
the detail in the character is great, i just don't like the birds, they're really annoying, but nonetheless great job...
