As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. This is a simple wallpaper that I created when i had a bit of time to fool around in Photoshop.
I love the effect of the wallpaper, its so cute! My favourite part is the flowers in the background. This wallpaper took me less than an hour to create.
I've seen other wallpapers with this vector, I think, but this one might be the better of the rest. Some might think that so much pink wouldn't look good, but this is really CUTE! I love all the different shades of pink plus the flower detailing alternating in the background. It makes it a really cute and feminine wallpaper. I also like how there's a slight white border to the image matching the break between the background rays too.
This is one of those rare color walls that I seem to be drawn to. Pink is hardly one of my likable colors, but somehow this does it right. The design is simple, but it works for me! Nice work.
