After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Finally! After hours, hours and... hours of working on this small little thing... I finally finished it! The vector (made using shapes) took ages to finish, especially the guitar. Well I didn't plan to make a wallpaper, at first I vectored her cause I needed it for a present. I made a poster using this vector and similar background. I printed it and it turned out wonderful :3 It was the bestest present I've ever given to somebody. I like it, so I thought maybe some of you would like it too.
I like it, but I think that the real girl is to pushed to the left, try to center it, (don't forget that I have some icons on my desktop, and the girl is under them, so I can't see her ^^) I like it really, I hope you'll make another version for me, so I will be able to enjoy your great work ^^
The vector is pretty good, and the bg is fairly well made.
but they don't fit together. it's all clean and whatnot, but it lacks a focal point, and needs some color theory applied. also, it kind of looks like she's just floating there, which is weird. even on an abstract bg, you need to give the subject something to make it fit.
you have every right to be proud of your work, because the work is good, but the wall as a whole doesn't work well.
Hm, I don't usually like ghosting but it seems to work in this case, it even brings a bit of balance to the wall and I'm happy that you blended her instead of just slapping her there ^^
My main concern would be the same as ~ala21ddin21's, I realized that the main image was covered up by icons when I set it on my desktop. Though, if you were to move her to the other side, I'm not sure it would look that good.
Overall, I like it. My favorite parts are the stars (both the small and big ones) and the blended vector, not to mention the sharpness. Keep up the good work! ^_^
Great work on the vector, and I really love the reddish tint the whole image has. I'm not keen on the zoom layer, but that's just a personal preference. And kudos to you for doing your own vector when there was one in the gallery :3
Waaai, Yui~!
"Tennen tte... sugoi"
I'm sure you're NOT suggesting Yui is a communist? ;P
I abhor text and I like well-done ghosting, and in this case it worked out real great. But what's my praise worth when you get kudos from Nat here? ;D
I want to write something to clear things up. It's my first time doing this kind of thing. I've never made wallpaper with ghosting. I personally didn't like it. But in this case I didn't know what to do with the bg, I mean any kind of text in my opinion would ruin it. If someone don't like stars and "outerspace" feeling, I'm sorry. But I cannot satisfy everyone. I'm not this kind of great artist whose works are admired by everyone. And I won't move her to the center. I know it may be troublesome cause people often have their icons on the left. I personally don't have them there so that's why I forgot about it. My inner self screams when I try to change something I already finished...
And I have to apologize to the person who made a vector before me. Unconsciously I used the idea from her/his vector. I didn't know this Yui was actually vectored. I thought I saw a part of scan (I found really really small version). I mean the idea of these lines behind her. And I don't think there is a need to praise me for making my own vector. It wouldn't be worth anything if I used the one that already existed to make such simple wallpaper.
But anyway thank you for kind words and words of critique, I will try better next time ^^
Very very good vector work, it was smooth and looked soft haha. I like how you vectored yui and her gibson. But I don't find the background too appealing. Nevertheless, thankyou very much for your job well done. Faved (cause it's yui haha)
