After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
I've wanted to make a wall that looked more like a sketch than a vector for a long time and I've also wanted to use this image of CC for a wall. Then, while in the midst of one of my "OMGFATALFRAMEISTHEBEST" episodes I got the idea for this. The ropes on CC reminded me of the Strangling Ritual from the first game as did the helpless but resigned look on her face.
Now, obviously the filters to create a sketch effect in Photoshop are pretty much useless so I searched through the internets to find tips as well as going on previous experience I've had to come up with a good method to create a good effect.
It took about two days because I wanted to take a break as well as having this horrible thing called work to get to. Then I didn't get around to posting it because, initially, I wanted to take some time to let it sit and then look at it again when I hadn't just been working on it for a few hours. Then I got busy with the previously mentioned work soo it got pushed to the back burner until now.
I'm overall very pleased with it, although I keep changing my mind about the red ropes and changing my mind on how vibrant I want the red to be. That's another reason to submit it now, to stop myself from changing my mind again.
Hope this is pleasing to some of you, thanks for taking the time to look at the wall and read any of this comment!
I think such a long time of looking for tips proved useful, since I really love this work < 3 You can see from a mile away that a lot of work was put into it and I appreciate your efforts; you gave me my new desktop wallpaper :D
My favorite part is probably the sketchy quality of the image of C.C. itself, it looks quite elegant - not to say that the crumpled paper effect doesn't work, because it does!
Overall, great work. Keep it up!
Never seen a pic of C.C. like this... Anyway, I love the whole idea of making a sketch. I would say, I really like the crunch paper effect and the red ropes. I think the color is just fine. It would hurt the eye if it was brighter. Nice one! +fav~
I love this wall!
The sketchy appearance makes C.C. looks so elegant and beautiful.
The yellowed "paper" and the crunch paper effect looks like the sketch was made long time ago, and it's a treasure!
And the only color that's there makes the wall seem to make a statement.
This is an awesome wall!
+Fav!!
What tutorial did you use for it?
I really almost never seen this kind of wall, sketching style^^
but i think the paper texture is out of control and she can be more sharp than the rest of the background
but is she really C.C......

Awesome C.C. wallpaper. It certainly looks like an old real 'wall' paper in some ruins or so. The effects you put are amazing. The fact about it seeming like a ritual makes me think of that like-in-some-ruins idea even more. Keep it up^^
