As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
Tried out some selective vectoring, then ended up texture-whoring the whole thing in an attempt to make this wall look more interesting :P I don't think this was what I originally had in mind when I first started messing around in Illustrator/Photoshop... but it did kinda grow on me the more I looked at it :D
Nia vectored from this scan. Textures used include a brown paper texture from Mayang and another from Bashcorpo, as well as a bokeh texture from deviantART. Bokeh textures are love by the way xD Must try to use more of those going forward!

I can't really think of much to say right now, but I like what you did in regard to how the original scan looks (that scan is amazing.) Texture whoring can sometimes ruin a wallpaper, but I think in this case, it is tastefully done - so yeah, I'll be adding this to my favorites. Keep up the good work!
I like what you did with the hair the most in this paper,
but the face looks kinda strange for me. Maybe because it's the only part which is outlined ><
The hair lines (the ones near the eyes, just a tiny portion!) looks a bit out of place but gotta love the brown paper texture feel. And the way you made the hair shapes frame her body, it's awesome :D
Just beautiful...I would reduce the kerning in your signature and move it to an angle since it's making a bit of interference with nia for non windows users, other than that, it's perfect. good job :3
You know how I am about texture. Boo on smooth! I'll take this any day. It's on my widescreen monitor and looks nice. Might be interfacing a little later myself. ... Take that comment however you wish. A fav from me and once again I disappear!
The wallpaper is very good, and the whole idea is nice and interesting *checks original* and very original too, the colors are nice, the textures feel natural, I just wish the vectored lines were more precise, it feels like you were too lazy to vector properly.
Interesting way of using good old 2D design with vector. The idea to use flat vector and texture is remembering me of some oriental tapestry. Quite imaginative and inspiring.
