After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Loftyfreamer, I had no idea that you liked the game! *Hint, hint*(My icon). ....Woops..Sorry guys for comeing back here late (again). I had to restore my Itouch (it was a pain).

So a little bit about my wall and why I made it.
First I would like to thank Heart464 and soft-meanie for inspiring me to take up this style. It's their walls that made me love colorful, vectored walls. One reason it took me so long is that I spent 24+ hours on the vector. It was my first, so I probably went about it in the wrong way. Regardless though, I love the vector. And the reason I gave Rei, Asuka's colors, is because I was originally going to put both of them in the wall. But I was having some trouble with Asuka, and it looked too cluttered regardless. So a bizarro Asuka wall will be next.
I started this wall over a month ago and then just had a creativity block. So tonight I sat down and made myself finish it. Only my second wall, but I'm very proud of it!
The wall is a nice attempt and could have a lot of interpretations to it. I think it's interesting that you changed colors and thus their appearances - but I also think, that it'd have been better if you took your time and finished Asuka as well - and put them together on one wallpaper.
As to the quality of the vector: for what I see it looks very clean so you certainly invested a lot of time (I remember my first vector - it was good too, but of a different style).
And another thing: please upload a higher resolution - since you have a vector as a source. I am using 22" LCD with 1680x1050 - and others might use even bigger screens. I think we'd really appreciate this :).
Keep up the good work and I am already curious about your Asuka-wallpaper.
Interesting, unique and a STUNNING vectoring job.
However, the decorative elements behind Rei come off as unnecessary, in my opinion.
I also point the colorscheme to result somewhat dull - I personally don't approve 'washed' green/blue/pink together with strong colors like dark grey and red.
That being said, I do think you could do quite much better with this idea of yours and vector.
I audibly yelped when I saw this wallpaper via a link someone had sent to me. I like the idea behind it, Bizarro-land-esque transformations of known characters are always fun to see and pull off, but this actually scared me when I first laid eyes on it. XD Good job though!
The vectoring is quite clean, I'll give you that. But the color scheme is too colorful for the eye and isn't compensated by actually fitting together. Colors on a wallpaper are supposed to compliment each other, if nothing else. Here it looks like an all out war has gone out with the colors, and they're competing for space and attention. The background is a nono. You can't have such highs and lows in one single wall paper, you have to have a medium or it's just going to be left in the back of the store after no one likes it. And lastly, I know some people like it when vectors don't comprise of lines, but lines actually bring beauty and balance into any piece of art. I suggest you add lines to the vector, it will help balance out the colors. And for the love of sanity, change that background.
In your next wall... dilute the colors, not everything has to look neon bright to shine.
Also, don't take this personally. It's just critique.
Very good concept idea, and the construction of it is very good (especially the vector). The color scheme on the other hand is a minor turn-off for me though; not Rei, but everything surrounding her. I kind of get what you were going for, but it doesn't totally work for me. Other than that, it's obvious you worked pretty hard on this, so thumbs up in the long run.

took me a few secs to understand why she was coloured like that XD
Nice design, i just wish it wasn't so black but then again it makes the colours stand out.
Anyway good job

Don't try to be perfect. Just pretend you do.
Excellent work on the wall BTW
