As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Not just because I just love NGE and especially rei but you did a very good job with it
the simple bg works like a charm, adds more warmth to your already radiant vector/paint
of rei.
I like the simplicity and elegance you gave Rei, most walls I see of her are sexy in her trademark battle suit but it's nice to see her softer side. You gave her face and hair a lot of volume and depth, I also like the mixture of colors the red and pink with the dark of the hair works well they really play off each other. I think the resolution could stand to be a bit bigger but other then that it's really beautiful. Very nice job. :D A+ and a fav.
Awesome, I love the color variation in her hair - you must've had a lot of patience for all that vectoring! I think my favorite part is the light that shines on the right side of her head, it gives off the feeling of a warm autumn afternoon ^^ Keep up the good work and congrats again for the promotion :D

Lol I totally love and appreciate the bit of advertising there. 8D I love the colors of the hair, and the soft afternoon mood. :) Like some have said the eyes look a bit rough and could use a bit more smoothing and more colors (like yellow highlights and violet shadows). Also her chin line looks kinda rough too. But good job! I'm flattered you want to make walls like my stuff. XD And I'm still waiting for that secret wall!! 8D
Compared to the scan you did an amazing job on the painting i think its really good, i love her eyes&hair :3 and the use of another bg from a scan its a nice idea n.n!
Ow boy! I really like how you painted her hair and skin! You'll have to teach me! The window is very detailed and done well. The only thing I can nitpick from it is that in the window, the horizontal panel looks like it's completely behind the left vertical panel which seems a little odd because normally they should be on the same plane... if you know what I mean... >_<
