As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

So... This is my second attempt to make an wallpaper... The first one wasn't very good but I hope that you can enjoy yourselves with this one... I've spent a ton of time making this one and there are still many things that can be done to it but I think that it was worth it...
I like that the mountains match the colors of the user, it makes it seem atmospheric. I wish the stars were a little sharper to offset that lovely effect you have got going on in the sky, it makes it look a little blurry right now. Loving the huge resolution! It's good practice to start out walling in such high resolution!
There's quite some bit of issue in this wallpaper, first the vector, the outline is way too thick, the eyes are a little messed up and look very odd, too little colour layers, it look way too monotonous.
The background, it looks epic but you'll need to merge them better, especially the edges between the mountain and the sky, it looks almost like a cut and paste job.
A lot more work to do to blend the lighting, the characters and the background...
