After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
I'm here. dont you just love peoploe like threenil who are in a relationship and tell people to be happy by themselves. i mean i am happy as i can be by myself
Well, I wasn't planning on submitting this anytime soon, but it has come to the point where I can't focus on any other wallpaper without getting this out of the way. I'm just that kind of person, I guess. It's nothing too special, although probably the longest I've spent working on a vector ever. I must have started it over a year ago, because the title of my PSD is "The Sweetest Thing," and that is a Lauryn Hill song, and I was really into her a year ago, meaning this is a year or so old. Get it?
The process is something like this: first I vectored the scan, which is somewhere in the Takamichi section on this site. Thought I'd try being creative or something with that block gradient thing going on in the sky. Traced the city and added a gradient to make it qt. Also traced that power line contraption from a photo over at sxc.hu. Added a layer of purple to unite the colors a tad bit, and here you are with a bromithia wallpaper.
It's weird, because lately I've been really feeling those classic grunge wallpapers, and I had this thought in the back of my head that I'd try something like that with this, buuuut I didn't. It's probably because I spent so long on the vector that I didn't want to taint it with ugly textures. Who knows.
This is like a year late, but I'm a part of Inky Monday now weeth Gideon and the gang. The website isn't booming with activity or anything though, so, we'll see if anything happens in the near future. Have had a few ideas of my own for a new graphics blog or something, but I'm not sure if I'm up for it entirely. Speaking of Gideon, I'd like to thank her, along with metalmallow, Bernouli, and a couple other folks in the creation process of this wallpaper, even though I most likely rejected all of your criticisms and went with my own judgement, haha, sorry.
Perfect vector, utterly flawless. Nice idea with the stepped gradient in the background. I can't place my finger on it but it feels slightly unfinished. A great wallpaper nonetheless! Favorite for me!
Brom? is that you? O_o;
I love it, not only because I love Takamichi's Artworks, but I love the muted, silent theme of the wall.
It's dark, but not too dark. It's definitely not a happy-themed wall, either. The girl's expression is also very vague, and leaves the viewer with lots of questions in their minds.
All in all, simple but nice.
Why the hell did you never tell me that you uploaded this? I'm so late! x_x
And you know how much I like this wall, despite not listening to my suggestions. :P
