After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
@`akiranyo: What's the limit for something to be a vector ? "It's fully scalable from source file so it's a vector!", "It's a vector, I used vector to do it!" or "Look, the pinky finger is vectored so it's a vector!" I think VD rules should more explicit.
I got more time then I thought off so I spent it making another wall.
I recently started watching Canaan and fell in love with it, and I took a big liking to the character Maria Oosawa. I saw the opening and screencaped this moment, decided to wall it.
I enchanced alot of her features; eyes, lips, added eyelashes and alot of detail.
Took me 2 days to make this, overnight as well I work and because I didn't want to make this a quickie I was sure to put alot of effort in it, took my time on alot parts.
The hardest part was her face and hair, drove me crazy till the end.
I was struggling alot on painting her features right so I asked Nysha for help,
she helped me alot on it. In fact, I don't think I would have finished it in 2 days if it wasn't for her. She hanged with me through the whole process and also gave a hand to help me with the highlights on her hair. After I finally finished painting her completely I moved on to the bg, which as you guess was the easiest part of the wall. I wanted the bg to be similar to the screencaps but more darker and fierce looking. Added a nice paper texture on her and to finish it off text in front. I know alot of you might not like the text but Nysha and I agreed the bright light needed it.
If you want a textless version just let me know, and as for the PNG...I'm not sure if I'll submit it. Anyone who wants it just let me know and I'll put it up on EDD!.
So to wrap this up, I will say this is by far the hardest painting job I've done.
I don't even think my original paintings tired me this much...ah, thank god for Nyshie~
Ooh, shiny indeed! I especially like the textures you used and good job on smoothing that hair and adding more highlights to it. And the title fits perfectly, too. XD
I can't decide about the text - I agree that it's needed but somehow I think something's missing...Still, it's a lovely work. :)

Why does this not have more favorites yet? This is stunning! The detail in the vector is phenomenal! The text is perfectly placed and the glow is great! I wish I could favorite you more than once! Great work!
Well, Maria is not my fav, but you made her really beautiful and maybe I get to like her :)
I like the glowing effect on the text! & I'm glad that you made the bg simple, this way all the focus is on Maria (which she deserves, coz you made her really awesome!)

The color scheme is wonderful, and I love all the work you did to make a low res cap look so much more detailed.
I can see why you thought you should add it, but I don't like the text at all. It's too plain compared to the rest of the wall and just doesn't fit imo. Everything besides the text is lovely though.
Ooh so pretty! I love how it's very simplistic; I mean, I know you worked very hard on it and of course it shows, but the layout itself is very simple with just the girl and the glowing background. And of course I cannot resist anythihng shiny. XD
