As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

This was my latest work though it is already more than one year old. It's really time for me to start creating some wallies or vectors again. ^^;

From MT:
The vector-wallie features Schneizel and Lelouch from Code Geass R2, showing them as they appear in Code Geass R2 episode 9 "Shukinjou no Hanayome" - The Bride of the Forbidden City". I love Lulu to death and really like Schneizel, so vectoring the Animage scan was a lot of fun although I had to draw the parts which were hidden by stupid text. >_<

Why "Threefold Repetition" you ask? Well, then watch episode 9 and you'll know why. Can't wait for another Schneizel-Lelouch/Zero-encounter. He's just the perfect opponent for Lulu.

Well, full marks for your excellent characters, they are really sharp, crisp and very well vectored, you have that ability nailed down obviously! What I would say is that your background lets your excellent vector work down a little, I understand the use for a checkerboard and blood stains, fits perfectly, I don't understand why it's a peachy color though, makes it look a little girly! I imagine black and white is too jarring though so I dunno. I will give you full marks for excellent vector work though! +favorite!

Their cold faces are always drawing fatal and serious plots for their ambitions. Their dresses are harmonized with their owner. They are drawing two characters' strong charisma and pride.

Great wallpaper. i agree with utams. the background is strange but i cannot imagine what now could it be. i hope you will create a wall with Lulu only. it is great pose for wallpaper. faved

I like the idea of the checker pattern behind them, but not how it cuts off so oddly on the sides. I'd rather see it more asymmetrical, and in different colours than the sort of peach/beige theme you have going on. Perhaps a dark grey/white with the splatters being actual blood.

Besides that the vectoring is wonderful, and while I can see the slight colour differences between this and the inspiration piece it doesn't detract from it at all.
