After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
@~ThreeNil78: That's good to know. I really should get back to sig/ava making soonish. I need a change from my old sets. If you look at the current set I'm using, you'll recognize it from ages ago.
@~ThreeNil78: I personally haven't made a new signature/ava set for more than six months. I've probably lost all my 'talent' by now. It's unfortunate really, but I was busy and now I simply have no inspiration. Simple works well for you though!

Description... I did so much stuff on this wallpaper.. @~1@
Chrome filter to make water, using the liquefy filter to make some swirls and dips. I made rings on the waters surface, and put a rose, and rose petals, which I painted (X__X) from stocks. I snagged the koi from stocks, and painted those too, then added reflections on the water and shadows. I added some extra detail to it by drawing in water droplets on Miku's clothing, hair, rose, and rose petals. Also made the checkers, and changed their perspective with free transform -> Distort, to get the angle right. I added shadows to the floor, and used the maple leaf brush + dodge and burn tool to make the tiles look marbleized (though you can't really tell now.. XD) Then toyed with hue/saturation, and Brightness/contrast to add the final touches. ..I hope I didn't forget to mention anything. @~1@
This took me the better part of two days. *dies of hand cramps*
I'M SO BAD AT PERSPECTIVES AND CHECKERED FLOORS. ORZ

I love the little fishies! You've definitely improved your checkerboard floor concept since your last wallpaper. Love the color scheme, dark but appropriate! The flowers and ripples are awesome too! The lighting in the water is a great touch! You definitely deserve a favorite!

The fishes are kinda hard to see but they give a nice enviroment on the wall and the rose next to Miku...gawd it reminded me of 07-ghost...umm meaning is really cute!

Wow, I love the bright blues that you changed to scan to! And the shininess, oh my~! The idea is also very interesting! This has nothing to do with your work, but I really dislike Miku's face >< I'm not sure why, but the more I look at it, the more it irritates me! ><;;
The angles feels somewhat off to me. I think the tiles behind her should become smaller because we're looking at her more from the front than the top. I think!

i can't believe it, i just can't believe it!! the sheer audacity is mind boggling. what's worse is i had to log on to see it TR... FREAKIN TR!!
well i guess all that's left for me to do is critique it after instead of before, and mind you, i'm not gonna go easy on ya. nope not in the least!
ok... here goes. the colors of this wall are just... uuuh. you know, the kind of uuuh that makes you mess in your pants involuntarily.
the water effects are squiggly and uneven, and all rippled.
the fish in the water are somewhat obscured.
and as for her... well she's shiny.
so all in all it's about right.
ok ok, there are a few things that are a bit off. fish on the right needs a shadow. filter used for the water effects is just a little strong for the style of the wall. her hair and fingernails are flat compared to the rest of her. and her reflection in the water is funky.
i know, the reflection is a bitch to do, don't worry about it. and don't worry about the water either, it can be hard to get that right without painting it all by hand.
the honest, serious conclusion of this unnecessarily long comment.

That is quite a creepy scan if I do say so myself. O.O I have no idea what those strings coming from her eyes are.
Good work on the details and the water effect. It looks great on the thumbnail, though up close the chrome filter is kinda apparent. But who cares XD at least it got the job done. :)
