As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. I started the wallpaper like tsu and the others during 120 and then finished it afterwards. When I saw the scan, I knew I wanted to make her lie on a snowy ground. I extended her hair, added the snow and shading.

I think it's really cool how you made her laying down! Good job on redrawing the hair! And I love the simple BG with the snow! It seems all the entries except my nonsense one had snow or looked snowy! That's really interesting!
I wonder what the scan looked like originally that made this idea pop out for you. It's perfect! I love how the snow is skillfully placed around her on the ground to make it look realistic. The only critique is that I think the falling snow starts to look...weird? if I start at it for awhile. Maybe it's because of the plain background. However, the background gradient still fits well, so iono! >_<
