I really love this wall. The attention to detail you put in the vector work is something I haven't seen in a very very long time. I've always loved this scan as well and it's refreshing to see some talent work on such a lovely piece. My favorite part is the fading of the dress into the water. The vector lines and the thought you put into that is the best :) I think your interpretation of her expression matches wonderfully with the literature you have going in your comment. While it's nothing like the original scan, it conveys a darker feeling which is excellent for this piece.

I realize you felt you got lazy but I do have one criticism that I think might be helpful if you're ever up to messing with the wall a bit more.

I think that from that perspective, I'm a little concerned with the hair's fade into water. I think a bit more contrast and fade (similar to the way you did her dress on the bottom left) would really really make this piece truly astounding. Also, I think that if she were actually in a shallow pool of water, the water level might be closer to her actual head... rather than where it is currently. Unfortunately, that would take away from the detail you put in her hair, but I think it would make a greater impact overall. Similarly, if some of the water level reached the farthest part of her back (that's fading into the darkness), it might also convey more realism and impact.

Overall, this is a grand piece and one of my favorites from you! Great work :)
