This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Well observed and dramatic, the single light source interacts juuust so with the foreground and background to bring everything together. There\\'s also excellent use of stock and all this adds up to give a very unique sense of style and grace in the wall.
Also, check out xerodante\\'s wallpaper gallery - it\\'s an eclectic mix of walls, showing an interesting mix of styles. There\\'s definitely something there for everyone :).
After my recent submission its time for a more serious wallpaper.
recently i finished the watching this great anime and just noticed that gungrave wallies are really rare in AP so i created one.
its a wallpaper of grave walking in a bridge toward millennion headquaters.
i got the scan from mt and as for the stock bridge is from sxc.hu and for the texture is from mayang.com/texture.
i tilted the stockphoto to make it more dramatic. and the buildings are manually made be selection tools. and also i tried to blend grave to the bg because he's a little redish from the original scan.
well hope you'll like it and enjoy!

Oh wowies, really love the perspective of the wallpaper. The buildings are really awesome, the angle and the shapes. The colours matches well too. The texture is great too, like the soft feeling it gives out. Great lighting effects, the light giving off behind the buildings is nicly executed. Awesome work!

I love this*_______* and i love you. This is so beautifull,i can't express it with words@___@I'm gonna put it on my desktop and stare at it,until my eyes bleed. There really are not enough walls of Gungrave, and it's such a great anime,so sad and touching...What you did is amazing,i'm gonna fav it!
Wow. This wallpaper just works. As you said, what makes this wallpaper shine (no pun intended) is the lighting. Color choice is excellent as well. I see no central focus in the wallpaper, which is completely fine. Great job.
I agree on the light part it really does add life and effect to the wallpaper overall. Also what I like about it is that the real picture and the anime picture blend in so nicely that you can't tell that the anime part is anime. It gives it a feel of realness and that is what I like about it most.
The color is also a good choice too many colors would have taken away from the realism of it. Great wallpaper!!
Woow,,this wall is very awsome.. OK, here are the comments: the wall is truly awsome, great, nice, calm, & cool. The background is truly wonderfull, awsome, great, cool, & neat! The font is cool & nice. & the classic colors are very nice & makes the wall more cool,, Awsome job!! I'll definately add this to my favs!!
