Anyway, pointless comments aside. This is an amazing wall, it's nice to see something green and cheery especially when it seems like most of the walls lately are kinda dark-ish or maybe I have selective sight, who knows. D: The birds are an awesome touch and an inspired addition to a very simple original scan. I love the way you've vectored and painted this because it feels very like... not sure if it's the right way to put it but it kinda feels like the artwork you'd expect to see in some children's books which actually makes this wall give a definite feel-good feel and even bring a smile to my face.

I think this was meant to be a simplistic wallpaper, dear. :)
The background is nice and gives it that tranquil feeling and she does look adorable floating in the air like that with the little birds. Nice touch, too, with the birds! They add a sort of whimsical feeling to the wallpaper. The vectoring and painting are also excellent!

Can't say Im very familiar with the manga (read the first one though!) but this is stunning. The colours and subject matter look beautiful together...

Oo...incredible job on the change from monochrome to color. The brushes on the dress look very nice! The sky is also looks smooth and natural (definitely sticking to the simplistic theme by not making it that strong).

Besides that, not sure what to think about your overall idea. I don't think the floating idea works for me. The two birders on the right also seem to similar (adding the flower on the left bird helped greatly in distinguishing them!).

I do like the little wing flutter effect on the top bird :P. The title/signature is also in a pretty font. Conclusion: not sure that I like the idea with the wallpaper, but it is definitely well done (and it seems like you had a lot of fun ^ ^).
