I think it's my first bright wall here lol
btw, here's the description that I copy from MT:

But still I wanna dedicated this wall to my good friends,
Minami-chan and Miku-chan, happy belated b'day for you two and also happy early birthday to DB-chan
I had add this in my project about 2 month ago and it's based from my own drawing I am Florist. But I just can start it in August 20th, 2009 in focus ^^
Finish this in September 1st, 2009, this day, and straight to submit it ^^
I really enjoy this work so much specially while do lineart and details like in the flowers and beads ^^
Well don't much to say cause there's many projects that queued up

Well, it does feel the same like Kobato like what storm and fire said

You can put something more for the background
for example, the flowers petal since the girl is carrying flowers

In regards to storm and fires comment... i see what you mean but y'know, ive lost count as to how many times ive seen other (experienced) wallers with styles that resemble a current anime/character or depict the same poses as in a scan like this case. Maybe the scan was just used as a guideline for the layout (like the basket, pose, hair position etc), because i personally think there is a fair bit of difference between Kobato and the character in the wall. Using scans as references is fine in my opinion... even experienced artists sometimes refer to scans or other sources to get their ideas from. BUT... maybe it was just striking coincidence after all. But i dunno. Lol.
The comment was fine though, and im not criticizing it in any way coz i see the valid point that was given. ;)
But yeah, the wall is great. Its a good attempt at some original work. I also like the flowers you added in the basket and the hat on her head. My only minor crit... the basket looks a bit off-balance and the background seems a tad empty as previously mentioned. Nothing worth worrying much about though. It looks great as it is.

With regard to similarity to already existing artists... I think there are a lot of faces found across the manga and anime universes that look exactly the same and can only be distinguished by their hair and style of dress. I guess with this in mind, a good goal may be how to take a basic concept and making it your own somehow.
I just feel that, as happens with books (Lord of the Rings to Harry Potter to Septimus Heap) and video games (every other RPG vs Final Fantasy), someone is always going to compare you to someone else who has already made a name for themselves.

Love the drawing though. A bit too oversaturated for my tastes, but nice fluffy background to contrast. Not sure if the snow in the foreground matches the scenery though (nothing to really indicate that weather -- maybe you like having random white dots like CLAMP! :P).
Anyways, as you should know, don't heed comments about your originality. However, if you stay that similar to CLAMP's drawing style, surpass them and make a superior style!
