After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Umm, it was actually only 2 hours in the shower, I just went to the site that Virus9009 address me to. I got so gought up on reading on new mangas. Some were too girly for me. ...You're right, it has become more peace full here. *Puts tape on mouth*.
@~Loleta 3 Hours in a shower? That is crazy, it takes me like 5 minutes. Also I have no idea where everyone went, but the shoutbox is more peaceful right now.
Hello all.
This wall certainly took a lot longer than I had thought it would. :)
If you are unfamiliar with her, the character is Nico Robin, quite possibly my favorite female character.
The wall is completely vector mask shape based (pen tool) in both outline and color, with no brush work or the use of any other tool.
The scan used for the wall is the One Piece Ch.310 color spread:
If you prefer a version that's easier on the eyes (and maybe a more proper setting for Robin) here's a blue fire version I like just as much:
Other info: Scan: OP Ch310 spread (above) Time duration: 5 months (taking many breaks in between.. :X ) Program: Photoshop CS4 Layers: 1573 (with layers having from 1 to a couple hundred shapes each) Texture sources:
Fire texture from obsidiandawn.com
Dragon's textures from free4illustrator.com
Fabric texture from fudgegraphics.com
And just for fun, a simple 'making of' gif:

< 333 robin~
anyway
great job~
i love the flames there and great patterning~
though i think robin, and the scales on the dragon could use some darker shadows to help stand out~
The thumbnail was irresistable~
She looks like a phoenix risen from the flames waves the way you walled her ()~ I say the scenery choice is just BRILLIANT and it's nice to see such a nicely-executed vector work. Kudos!
Wow this is a nice piece.
I'm really digging the soft shading on the blue cloth.
Her kimono is really beautiful, but I think it would fit better with the rest of the wall if you had done more contrasting lighting/shading like you did with the blue cloth.
Great work on this one. The fabrics and the sky is just too awesome. I haven't seen many One Piece walls that I've liked but this one's an exception. I especially like the GIF you presented. It's very entertaining to watch. Nice work :)
Damn had to be up when i went to bed >.<
