I can't believe this is finally done~!
Total time working on this is over two months... well, one and a half months of slacking off and a couple weeks of diligent working. :O
I've never hadta use so many layers before... DX
(This is actually the fourth revision of this wallie.)

ANYWAYS, this is my first time painting anything. :D
The background was essentially copied from this screenshot I took while looking for good background shots to go with my vector. Since the place was extremely important to the anime (and I needed something with sakura trees), I decided to paint it~
After that was done, I added my vector. I had originally planned to have a whole glowey mess in her hands, but petals worked better. :O So I vectored some from a random scan I had.

As for the title, I just finished the most amazing series, Black Blood Brothers, and the line was from the ending sequence. It seemed to fit her expression and the anime rather well.

Also, I owe a GINORMOUS thank you to ~fayt19. Without her help this wallpaper wouldn't have been half as good. x3

EDIT: I suppose I should explain the lack of detail in the "back" portion of the scene... in the screenshot, the background "faded away" a great deal, but it looked odd so I color-corrected everything so it didn't look so strange, but I forgot to add details like lighting. DX
