As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. @`akiranyo: for VD #4 it's monochrome scans right ? I wonder if it would be good idea to accept vector of monochrome scan not submited on AP. What do you think ?

First of all, this is my first wallpaper :)

I wanted to make a Toradra wallpaper and here it is. I extracted Taiga from this scan. The paper texture background is from here. Arrow Brushes: Here.

Taiga is always cute :3 anyways pretty nice wallpaper I like how you used the colors to toally fit her in the wallpaper^^ the only thing I don't like are the black stripes around her but oh well.

Good use of textures; it could use some toning down (making it more subtle) but still fine nonetheless. I like the simplicity of the composition, and awesome job for your first submission!

Cute. Good job on our first wall. Not sure I like the outline around her though. Maybe you could have put a darker outline around her person instead of the cut out outline floating beyond her. She kind of blends into the background because she doesnt have an outline.

Still, good job with your first! Keep at it!

Can't find anything wrong with it, and it gets even better knowing that this is your first wallpaper.

I like how you put some accents around Taiga's frame with the dotted lines. Very unique.
