Yes, i am back againnnnn after a long drought of no wallies from me. And yes, as you can see for like the 5th? time the theme hasn't change lol...silhouettes still. I'm still in this phase. Perhaps I'll leave this soon...lol and e ways...
There is no real theme or message in this wallpaper. Nothing deep. It's just some of the main bleach characters in a field with a tree, that btw, looks really sick wicked and nasty lol. My intent when I started this wallpaper was to use silhouettes again, and instead of having it kind of static and sticklike in the previous 2 wallies, I wanted some life in the silhouettes so I vectorered some of the characters in different poses to add more depth, different height levels, flow, movement, dynamism (this a word? lol).
The placement of the characters in this wallpaper has no real significance. Their "distance" in the scene does not dictate their importance in the anime, wallpaper, nor to me. I just composed them in such a way that would make me happy; it has flow, depth, it's dynamic (i think), etc, etc.
The text is kind of fitting cause it seems to me, like a kind of meeting place, what with the open field, the lonely tree, etc. :P
K enough about what I think haha.
o for a game, people can try to guess who each person in the wallpaper is XD hehehe
and yes for those of you who have noticed, I stole a couple of the silhouettes from another one of my wallies - nakama. Recycling my work XD
What I did to this piece was basically vector the silhouettes, bring them into photoshop, applied some filters, and resized them. The vectoring took a while cause I had to first find the appropriate images and then meticulously trace them basically. The background was 'borrowed' lol, from deviantart. From there I played with the settings, lighting, filters, and colours to get the final product. Then I put everything together and wham bam that's what I have here :D
For those of you interested, it took me...i'd say at least 10hrs. And oh yea, a lot of faking in this wallpaper lol. Like the scans I got weren't complete. Meaning it didn't have everything I wanted. For example, err...gah don't want to give away who's in the wallpaper, but I'm sure these 2 will be easy to guess lol. Sado (chad)'s lower right arm (his right) was faked, as was his legs. Ikkaku's entire right side of his body and a lot of his lower body was faked as well.
