Okay! AP wallpaper #2!
This is very different from the first wallpaper I submitted here - it's... cartoony, for one thing. And excessively happy in an "against all odds" way.
While it may appear extremely simple, it's over 50 layers and it took me just as long as the other wall - and I didn't even vector the character (I feel cheated...). Although I did touch up the original scan a bit - mostly because when I resized it those tiny runny water-like lines appeared for some reason. I actually got the image here in AP and it's a very nice scan.
I started out with the city first, then I erased what I did, put in the "raindrops" and then the cloud, and then made a new city. At first, I was doing the windows individually, but then my hand seized up and I used the square brush and scattered it instead. I added those red lights you sometimes see at the top of skyscrapers. (What are those, anyway? Transmitters? Receivers? Helipad landing lights? INQUIRING MINDS NEED TO KNOW.)
This will probably my last wallpaper for a month or two since I have to concentrate on my websites. I hope it can cheer you up on a rainy day!
