Hi there~
This is one of my first pieces so let me tell you a little bit about my background first!
I'm pretty new to the Anime/Manga wallpaper world but not so new to the photoshop world. My experience in collaging is mostly with stock images of movie screencaps, actor/actress shots, etc... so applying my particular approach to collaging with anime has been a VERY difficult new challenge... but one that I'm having a blast with!
I'm a layer style/brush user, and my vector skills are poor so most of the walls I submit will be blend-based. Hopefully later on I'll be able to incorporate vectors into my collages!
As for this piece...
I recently finished the short anime series, Shingetsutan Tsukihime and I absolutely fell in love!.. The ending had a special place in my heart and I decided to use my own screenshots of the last episode of the series, mixed in with a great scan of Arc ( Minitokyo Scan). My goal was to depict the emotions Shiki (and I) were portraying in the end of the show.
Mmm, since this is my first comment box, I'll just comment on the wall through the questions suggested to consider~
My aim was to portray the emotions of the last episode of this series. The episode itself left me in a mood for days and it compelled me to create a wall because of this mood.
<< my moodThe wall itself was extremely difficult for me to create... I've never experienced stock images that were so clean and simple in terms of texture and color... so layering and brushing everything with these type of images brought upon completely different results from the ones I'm used to... and that's probably where most of my time in this collage went!
The creation itself was pretty much stuck for a long time in two points. The first point was my decision to only use one image (the one on the bottom right) because that image depicted the emotion I wanted to bring out for a while... but then I decided to make it a bit more complicated. The second point I came across that stopped me for hours was the top right image... for a while I used a staircase image that was symbolic to the series, but it ended up clashing with the entire blend so I nixed it and used the image of him reflecting in the classroom.
The wall took me... a very long time to make... hours and hours... And for as simple as it turned out to look but I'm pretty satisfied with the colors and the blends... I know it's not an eye captivating wall, but my main goal was to depict a mood that I'm sure many in the Shingetsutan Tsukihime community felt when finishing the series.
Anyway, sorry for the essay

I hope you enjoy!

which means you could transmit a feeling out of that anime.
