This is the first time I submit a wallpaper, so please be indulgent. I quickly found the scan of Suzuhira Hiro awesome, typically gothic, and that's what I enjoy. I made some change to the character (color of the hair and eyes,...), I made the cross more impressive by using a picture bump-mapped. The background is also a mix of a forest, a skull, and flames. Everything was made with Photoshop 7.0, and some revisions with The Gimp Mode, in about 6 hours. The more difficult task was to "cut" the character", an exercise that is very boring for my old eyes! ^^

I also put a sort of halo, and blur on the girl, to reenforce the idea of darkness, with her spectral appearance.

And this is for months my favorite desktop wallpaper. I tried to change, but I always put it again (and it fits well my visual style and my widgets).
