I've been working on and off of this wall for about two months. Everything in the background was painted by me in Photoshop using the default brushes, except for the birds who all came from the scan. I also had to fix several parts of the scan where text had been and redraw parts that were missing. The texture is from deviant art and the scan I used is similar to this one.
I spent a lot of time working on this and I hope you like it,

edit: Thanks to Mitsuki-chan for pointing out the spelling mistake, it's fixed now!

Your... wallpaper... is...so... BEAUTIFUL *_*. The scan is pretty and cheerful, you have changed the colours a little warmer and brighter, they go perfectly with the colours of the background. The brush work is outstanding, I really adore you... Very nice work with the sand and the water. The sky has light and cute colours too. The only thing that disturbs me is the water line, it´s not straight... but it´s intentionally made, is it.
Nice effetcs and ecxellent work, my favourite ^^

Great wallpaper. I really like the overall composition, as well as the scan and the background themselves. You made this scene look very lively and realistic, it feels as those characters were part of the background from the beginning. Although I think the waves at the bottom should use some more work, it's still a great piece of work. GW!

*downloading for fullview*, this is such a so kute wall >.<, i do love the beach scene ^__^, but the water isnt really good you can easily see, lets try more next time to make somehow magical beach. and it really doesnt fit with the sand at all. and the sun(dunt know if that's really the sun) is too simple >_<, just a round circle and colorized it *___*, the water is really hard work i think but not real, it look like a painting >__<(if this is a painting, i sure do love it), but it's out of any other parts of the wall >_<

You mean you painted the backround yourself, and with the default brushes to boot...That takes some amazing talent...wich I don't have for stuff like that...
Terrific work. You can see different shades in the water and evreything is just so soft and sweet, very impressive.
