I think the black and white is very classy while the tinge on her lips seems slightly out of place, but not terrible looking. The swirls at the corner of the picture are also lovely and her outfit ad pose are beautiful.

Ooo nice wall, i like the brushes done on the BG but issin't it a little dark? haha overall it's good however... though the effects done on the text issin't really to my liking XD nvm Gj!

Hmmm... nice wallpaper! The background is amazing and the black and white efect is perfect! But... you make only one mistake (ok, two mistakes... hehe): the red lips and the resolutions.

Good Black&White work, it's often hard to come up with something eyecatching when working with monocromatic style but this is somewhat good. However the effects near the character are too dark which make it somewhat confusing for the outlines of the same, so it kind of spoils it. I think this would come out better if you choose to leave lighter areas near the character to give more contrast to it, leaving the darkes effects for the surrounding.

Good nevertheless.

Nice job! i like the background, although the black swirls on the right make it seem as if asuka has pseudo-wings (not sure if that was your intention). i'd really like to know what the japanese words mean : D

the only object that stood out a bit was the chair, probably b/c it has a different texture than the rest of the wallpaper. everything else blends nicely together. : )
