Sorry for being late at coming to look at your finished wallpaper, but i had exams and was busy. anyway, as you already know, i think you have potential for vectoring (that is, above the simple stuff that the average crowd does ;]). and for a first wall, this has turned out quite nicely.

excuse me if i'm too critical towards a beginner, but i find the obligation to be bluntly honest with those whom i trust to have the ability to take criticism positively and thus improve a lot. xD; with the vector, the bits about the hair that i found a bit unsatisfactory are still there. it's also a little strange how her right hand is peach-tinted but her face and other hand are so gray. as to the background, i didn't expect you to follow the original so closely -- i was hoping for better butterflies, as these ones look "brush-like" and almost "duplicated". the butterflies would have been prettier and livelier if they weren't all viewed at the same angle. the background could have also used some more contrast (as in have some darker blues in there) but that's a minor preference thing. a more important issue is the outer glow. while i understand you are going for that magical look, a uniform glow is rather bland. when doing magical lighting, it is important to do it by hand (paint even if you have to use a mouse and use layers & blend modes).

i just hope you don't get discouraged by how picky i am being. :x because really, you are starting out WAY better than how i started out. i repeat myself: you have potential. so keep on working hard. (and give me a heads up if you want critiques and don't mind my straightforward style. :P) looking forward to your future works as you polish up your skills.
