As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. I started watching Bakemonogatari a couple of weeks ago and I must say I was impressed.

When I saw the end credits for the first time I knew that I had to make a wallpaper from it. So I screen captured a few sections and decided to wall this particular screenie.

I traced it all in Photoshop which took me a very long time to do. I added Suruga into the foreground as I felt that just having Mayoi there left it feeling a bit unbalanced. Then all I did was simply add some paper textures over the top to give it some more depth.

This took me a really long time to do and I still can't decide if I like it or not. I figured I would upload it though because I'm afraid if I do any more to it I'll ruin the poor thing.

I hope all the Bakemonogatari fans enjoy it! Senjōgahara is awesome!

I love the show, but I really wish you had done a lot more with it

it's certainly cleaner, but other than that, you really didn't do much with it

would love to seem more walls from this show though, but with more...eh...detail, for lack of a better term

Super stylish! Awesome colors and shapes. Those muddy colors are crazy good, the outline character art is perfect. The appearance of depth is brilliant with what you've done with the layering, this is fantastic! Excellent work!

A very stylish and interesting wallpaper. This one actually caused me to raise my brows. I'm not sure what anime this wall is modeled after but you did a good job and it definitely grabs attention. This is one of those walls that people will probably spend more time looking at then most to see what kind of impressions they get. Again, very interesting artwork. :)

It's fine, but after comparing it to the original, it looks like pretty much the same thing, albeit with less detail...
Anyway, with the top part extended a little, I think the background looks a little plain, so maybe something should be added there.

All the girls of Bakemonogatari too bad Shinobu is not included. But anyway
i like how you vector the screen, the colors are a-ok + the vector is sharp and
clean. The texture used is nice too. Overall nice job vectoring it so +fav! ^^,
