This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

It's time to start the tortured soul series. The original image is a screencap from the anime which I recoloured . The background, textures, and fonts were done by Whiteblaze. Thanks to the guys on irc for comments. Edit: Hair fixed.

"YAY I got the chance to work with the lovely dhias and one of her awesome drawings :D Ok so the BG is pretty simple but it turned out exactly how I wanted it to the same with grunging (< new word xD) of the drawing. Since the drawing had such an awesome grunge feel to it I just had to give it a go lol! Anyway I hope you all like it and thanks again to the dhias for letting me tag along xD"

You have nice coloring skills, the image looks wonderful and so do the fonts. The background complements the image quite well, just try to smooth the edges of the image a bit more (mainly around the hair), nice work ^^.

This is intense. Even though I've never seen Rayearth I immediately put this wall on my desktop.

As far as the grunge goes, I'm incredibly impressed by this wall because it isn't the typical grunge, it's a trendsetting, hybrid grunge, and it feels so good.

Excellent collaboration.

Wow great job for the both of you. The background just fits so well with the image. The grunging is also great as usual from Whiteblaze. The coloring is good too, the only thing I would fix would be some of the areas around the hair but other than that I really like it ^^.

I think I'm in love! XD I don't mean the guy. Okay, the guy but the wallpaper as well! From the thumbnail, it already looked awesome but when I full-view, boy, was I blown away. Excellent brushwork and coloring by dhias, it looks completely different from the screencap. More artsy and stylish. Of course, the wallpaper can't be complete without WhiteBlaze's grungy work with the background and the textures. Really brings grunge to a new level. Some edges of the hair seems "too" solid though and doesn't blend into the background as well as the other parts of the image. Overall, great work, you two!

Wow the coloring is awesome and looks a lot better than the screencap (as expected from you =D). And with Whiteblaze's wonderful grunge textures and the text you two made a wonderful work worth faving and putting onto a desktop.

Fantastic job on the recolouring, I really love the style you used for it, it looks SO much better than the screencap.
I love the mood the whole wallpaper just.. sends out. The background and textures rock too, and really contribute to that mood.
...And of course, the guy's hot too, and that's always a plus. ^_^

That's pretty sweet. You already know what I think of the (awesome) coloring job. The background is a lot better than what I expected. I thought because Eagle covered most of the wallpaper's area, there won't be much of a background. But the background looks really good. And the textures are nice.

Good job! Now make me a textless version. XD

Wai ~!Neither Dhias-chan nor Blaze-kun told me this was a collab >.< ~!*_* I love the wall, guys ~ Awesome awesome job. I'm seriously just... speechless.

BAH ~ I absolutely love the screencap you chose to use, dhias. The recoloration <-[word?] you did looks absolutely amazing as well. Stunning, and even the text you used for that looks great! I'm downloading and saving both the recolored and walled version to my laptop cuz... wow, they're both just so *.* - so awesome.

The colors for the unwalled version are just so smooth and clean... pure almost. His eyes, clothes, hair, skin, face, hand... just all perfectly colored. Not to mention how well all the colors blend together as well. Then, with how blaze textured it, fits so well with the background as well. I love the brick wall, by the way. And then the poster on[in] the wall, is such a great idea... especially also having it blood-stained. LOVE it >.< ~! Mind me also adding in that the text was very well chosen. I like the black outline/fade through feature. =P

Overall, just a great job- both of you. You two should really consider doing things like this more often. =P x3 +Fav ~ <3 emoticon

Well, as I said on irc, AMAZING job on the screencap. Nice choice of background, too --- brick and text looks good. As some of the others have said, the guy looks a little bright for the bg and doesn't blend in well.
Overall, an awesome collab, you two. ^_^
