Hi folks^^,
I know it must have been quite a while. But I just had so many things to do that I couldn't get myself to work on a wallpaper for a long time. Finally when I browsed through the scans I got, I found *surprise* another Scan of Olga from Ys and decided that my not-wallpaper-making-seal must be broken!
So here we go:
I found a stock photo on sxc.hu and decided to use the tree. But the tree alone was pretty boring. So I thought of something which would make the scene more interesting. Then I saw some sword stock images on sxc.hu and took two of them and put them into the wall.
It all seemed to sharp - so I used some smart blurring (especially on Olha) and put the fog into the image. In order to make the stock photo blend nicely with the foreground I had to use some artistic filters on it.
What I enjoyed doing the most are the tears of Olha. To all you Ys fans: please excuse me for putting tears into her eyes (twice by now). But her expression on her face was simply so cute that I felt like crying myself.
Anyway: I used some brushes (from photoshopsupport.com) - PM me if you want me to be more specific. The stock photos of the background and the swords are taken from sxc.hu. The scan is from AP.
Time needed: about 6 hours; most annoying thing to do: extraction and clearing of the scan; most funny thing: effects/lightning.
Last thing: after I had completed arranging the "objects" I overthrew my thought of having some text layer with the title in it - because I felt that it might spoil the whole image.
Have fun! I am grateful for any comments/suggestions and of course favorites :) Enjoy!
