*cries with joy* It's finished♥ Finally! I feel sooo proud of this wall. (*O*) Why?




••• After I finished all 47 eps of Nana I was determined to make a wall out of Nana x Ren but I couldn't seem to find any good scans... thus I went through several eps and settled on the screenshot above from ep 16. The quality wasn't great, obviously. It took me hours to vector from that small blurry screenshot. I got lost several times, not knowing which part I was coloring, haha. Especially Ren's chain and ear piercings... those parts look horrible but I *tried* my best. xD Oh, and Nana's eyelashes! I don't know what I did... but it just wouldn't turn out the way it SHOULD look. (v__v) Anyway, this is my 2nd vector EVER so overall I'm pleased with it. ^__^

••• I had the vector. But I had no idea what kind of background I was making. I kept deleting trials after trials... ugh it was frustrating. Stamping swirly brushes didn't help. My goal was to make a wall that's SIMPLE and DARK. (coz that's the kind of wall that looks good on my desktop ^^;) And I decided to stick with that idea. So after playing around with filters and pen drawing random stuff, this is the result. A lot of things were done unintentionally, which made the wall turn out better... such as color adjustments and the text style. ^.^

Squeee!~ That's pretty much it. & I ask that you be lenient when critiquing the character vector please. (^o^) Hope you like the wall as much I as I do! (:

★ the original was made for widescreen so the 1920 x 1200 will look BEST.
