I know this doesn't really fit the season today but when i've seen this scan in volume 9 of gakuen alice, i've started to create wallpaper out of it (credit goes to gakuen_ alice community and aerie). this scene happens on the academy's xmas party (pretty obvious ei and big spoiler for those who haven't read it ~_^). from this scan of mikan ---- http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a70/maldita_biscuit/mikan.jpg, i colored and vectored it (well not that too perfect, its my first time to color a manga). i was planning to create bubbles but after i've seen this old book, i decided to go on this theme instead. and since this happens in xmas eve it should be in a snow right however i think cherry blossoms looks lovely specially on scenes like this. i found these cherry blossom pics in n-design and added it as bg in the wall.

That is adorable. The wall has a very cute and innocent feel to it. Your coloration of Mikan was really well done. The cherry blossoms give an even more romantic feel to the wall. Nice work. Take care.

The scans are very cuuute and nice ^^ but the outlines of the big one are a little unclean. Your colouring is very nice. The colours of the wallpaper are pretty and lovely, they really make the atmosphere of the wallpaper romantic ;) The book is great idea. I like the text.

Very Romantic, it is very sweet as well! The book idea is quiet impressive and and looks erally good. However you should of added a different background to match the book, but I still like it.

Awwwww, that's so sweet. I love the tiny notebook of how the kiss started. It shows the emotion of the kiss happening better. :] And the girl blushing is adorable! Good work :]

I'm so happy to see that someone made a wallpaper based on the manga version of GA. This is one of my fav. parts in the story so far too! ^_^ I Think you did an awesome job coloring that picture of Mikan-chan. Especially, her eyes. I think the cherry blossoms fit in quite well with the winter theme somehow. It's all very nice and flows together. The story book was a wonderful idea. You've created a wonderful way to depict their love triangle. Good job! This is definitely a fav!

Cool wallpaper it's so romantic...I like the mikan's color...it matches...but the background color doesn't...nice job though!!
