I'm finally done with UA's 11th Fornightly Wallpaper Competition under the heading: CUTE! 
Actually, I've been starting with the theme for some time now.. I guess right after the theme was announced XD I had a few things on my mind which was considered cute... like Mokona (CLAMP's hottest mascot at the moment), Plue (Groove Adventure Rave's mascot), Haro (Gundam's mascot), Poring (Ragnarok Online jelly-ish mascot) and P-chan (Ranma 1/2, Ryouga's transformed version). At first I was planning to cram them all in one wall, but it doesn't work. The whole thing look so sucky I had to leave the wall there for some while before I had any idea.
I also managed to look up at flyin's cute-based gallery but I almost burn my brain in the process. I mean, why the heck are simple and cute walls are so darn hard to make?! *shakes fist*
But then inspiration came few days ago. It all happened after I was done collecting Tsubasa Chronicle manga covers (Yea. You know, those spiffy looking ones. By the way, I love Yukito's version, hehe.) I clicked into the browsing page and hm, Chobits. Then I remembered those 2 cute little characters from the manga I saw. (Oh, I only read the part where Chii was abducted by Dragonfly, and no more than that >.<) One was Sumomo and the other was... well, I forgot. But nevermind that.
So I browsed through the gallery and finally saw this scan. Lookie here.
A cute looking Sumomo lying down on something that I dunno. (It looks like she's lying on top of Shinbo but then I can't explain those weird-looking green stuffs at the side.) And yeah, I thought to myself, I think I'm going to do another shadeless vector. And that sketchy vector lines that I love So I began vectoring. ^^
It took me about 2 days to finish the whole thing. It wasn't really hard, since Chobits is (probably) the only CLAMP's work which is very easy to vector compared to the rest. (Gulp.)
And here's the result. I added a little light texture on top of what Sumomo's lying on which I got from DA! Desktop Anime quite some time ago.
