Found the scan in the Scans section and I fell in love with it. I cleaned it up and added more houses to the town and extended the road and sky. I'm not sure about the texture I used, but I got tired of messing with it. The words are lyrics from Ningyo Hime by Tanaka Rie.

The lighting somehow looks a little shiny, as if it's a matt glossy picture instead of a spotlight. Perhaps darkening Chi a little would remedy that? Otherwise, another great job, fantasyx7!

I'm not a big fan of the texture. And if the light was shining directly on Chii, I think it would look better. Also, try smudging Chii's edges a bit. Some of her edges are jagged.
Oh, and I really like the text, which is uncommon because I prefer my wallpapers textless. :)

Awww...that wall looks so sweet. :) I'm not a big fan of the lighting, but it's fine. I'm in love with the text though. It's simple and elegant, and it really really rocks! I don't know, there's really something about it that I like. I think it's because of the how the color of the text contrasts with the salmon, violet, and blue, and how it slowly fades into the black background, and it's placing. It's also cute how the buildings aren't formed in a horizontal line but in a curve. But I think there's something wrong with the perspective of the road. But maybe it's just me. o_0 Great job anyways! :)

Nice background and lighting under the dark background. Chii looks very cute in the outfit! But I think the quality of the wallpaper can be improve furthur. Nice job!

Only qualm is that the lighting on Chii doesnt match the lighting direction presented in the wallpaper.

Seems like it could be a commerical for Chobits. With the text moving back anf forth. Looks great though. The rainbow type like looks nice. And Chi takes center stage.

I love this! the idea of chi replacing the little one is so much more appropriate! (i can't believe no one else thought of that...if they did i haven't seen it yet ^^;;) anywho that one's awesome!

I like that wallpaper very much. Even if the light makes it appear as if it were matt-glossy photo, it still has its uniqueness. It is definitly one of my favorites, because the scene does also have a very deep meaning for the whole anime itself. And the effects (that glittering or whatever you would call it (sorry <-- don't know all the terminology)) is nicely done, since it creates a perspective and makes the whole scene live up (it combines somehow the fore-, middle- and background - as the way to the town does).
