I like it. It feels like a watercolor on a textured pulp paper canvas. I really don't dislike anything about this work, but there are two things that I think are distractions from the overall effect.

1) In the top part of the canvas above the right eye and nose there is a noticeable crimp in canvas that comes down to the head and suddenly stops, as if something flat was placed on it. It might be better if that crimp appeared in the head. It would feel as if the canvas had been painted as a watercolor and very slightly damaged by bending at a later time.
2) At the very edged of the image where foreground and background meet, using more of a brush fade effect would have helped with the painted canvas effect. The transition is just a little bit dramatic there.
