After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Ah I killed my comment. I'll try to rephrase it as clearly as I can. I found this Tohou scan from an image board I can't remember and I had to use it as a wallpaper. The stars were a pain since I had to make them from scratch and fix them up. I had fun working with the petals since they weren’t originally that bright a pink. I'm sorry if I blinded you with this wallpaper, it came out really too bright. T_T Textless versions are coming soon... hopefully.

This is actually my first time making a wallpaper in so long so bear with me... ^_^; Comments are appreciated!

This is absolutely beautiful! The colors and the girls' expression all meld together to form a terrific image. The blossoms and the night sky blend together to form an almost touchable atmosphere of enchanting magic and shimmering wonder. I can't help but feel a sense of having stepped into a fantastic ethereal world as I look upon this wall.

I wish you had explained more about the process of your wall.....what I understood from it was that you found a scan (or image)and you added more detail to it, right?
what else did you do other than adding the stars and if you painted some parts or not??
when it comes to walls of this type you need to explain clearly to avoid any misunderstanding or confusion!!and also I would get to know your talent and praise you more!!
if the source was a scan it was a good idea if you had added the scan address to it as well ^^(its a realy nice scan)
anyway,the wall itself is nice and as you said dreamy looking ^^.just one thing and its that one the right side the density of stars are a lil too much I guess...feels too full for me(maby its just me^^)

I think this is a lovely wall and for your first one I'm even more impressed. My only dislike is that the resolution seems way to small for all the detail in this, it makes it look to claustrophobic, make it bigger and it will look more spaced and you can really take in all the work. The sky is stunning I love the stars and petals also the different textures are perfect together. Over all you did a nice job just explain the process and touch up the resolution and you have it made :) A-

Hey! Nice for a first wallpaper huh. ^___^
Well, just watch for the colors... coz in my perspective, its quite bright. However, the combination of the colors are really good. And about the text, it will be much better if you just let it be simple. I'm talking about the sort-of shadow text out there. Just let text as it is... coz the shadow thingy makes the text look odd. That's all.

Oh my God, this is simply gorgeous. The cherry tree blossoms are so vivid, it makes for a really nice contrast against the starry background (which is equally beautiful). The characters look like they're basking in the light; "Ethereal World" is a pretty appropriate title. I like how centered everything is too. Very nice man.

I do like the brightness of the wallpaper, at the same time being dark.

I really like how you did the colours. It's really eye catching although you didn't do very much with the original picture. Good try though. I don't think it's too bright actually. I kinda like your tone and contrast for the wall.

As much as I like Maribel, this wallpaper is a classic example of what I hope first time wallers won't do.
Copycat.

I have the original scan in 3200 x 4000 in size, so frankly, when I saw it, I felt a comparison was needed, what I found was this, you illuminated the pink, giving it a glow effect, which I simply assume it is playing around with brightness+ selective color+ levelling+ blending modes, which I really think is very simple.

You did not extract or designed a background on your own, which I had hoped you did since there are plenty of Sakura trees in the background, even if you wanted to make a decent copycat, you could change the background by blending a photo or another sakura background to your wallpaper, which could remotely be added to an effort if you are privy.

The other thing is simply how you decided to finish off with plain text, again, if you were gonna do anything to a certain degree of sophisticated walling, I strongly suggest against perverting an original scan and do something on your own, it may not be much, but lest you should remember that walling too takes effort, effort can be judged by intense eyes, and I have those.
