After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

@:3CloudGer:You can use a tablet with Inkscape. Some tools accept pressure as input. Like the calligraphy tool. Can be useful for background ^^

Hello everyone and welcome to my new wall =) ..

I always wanted to make a wall for Shakugan No Shana .. the idea is having a character Fading away and turning into flower petals and flaying away , and it was inspired from a movie poster called "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer" (i thought its a Perfume add antel "Purl" said its a movie LoL) , and who would be better in a black backgrond with red petals than Shana ^-^ !! .. i had to cut her out of the scan then color her black hair to the red color which she has in the flame haze mode :P ..

I really wanted to try a new way in walling so i hope everyone would like it ^^ .

PS .. Thanks alot to "Amai-Kawaii" , "fragola89" , "Spirit" , "boind" , "swordfish-II" , "asa01" , "eria9" for the help and the comments in Session Zero .. :)

Great job!
the scan is great, but i think the "fading away" idea is a very artistic concept, the petals are so sweet and great drawed, impressive job!
the back you put on it, fits perfect with the concept, it concentrates the attention to the petals and the scan!
no regrets at all, I think it is a fantastic designing work!!

Some of the petals start to get repetitive and a bit too symmetrical. Also, the grayish background just doesn't work for me, nor does the font of the text. The concept is cool though.

Overall i think it's pretty cool.you did a great job with the disintegrating Shana and all the background is also simple but for some reason works very well.. it's really an awesome wall! great job

It is really great, i think the name is not so good because the rose blossoms and the wallpaper have no tragic thats why i think the name "The Day the Flame Died" is not rteally good but the work is really great.

It has a fine texture and not too overbearing....

I think the text design is kinda crude...especially when the rest of the wall is so fantastic!

Did you get this idea from Perfume: The Story of a Murderer movie? Cause it bears a striking resemblance. o.O

But anyways... I have to agree with everyone else that I don't really like the font. :P And there's something about the transition between her hair and the rose petals that doesn't look quite right..

Other then that, I really like it. :D

so atmospheric and well designed
a must have for every shana fan
its just not very sure whether shes fading into petals or bloody shreds
looks more like shreds to me, so the petal design needs some improvements
the rest seems just perfect to me
love it

The idea itself is pretty good, and also good job with the wall. Nice petals, and nice colors.
I'd use it on my desktop if it wasn't Shana. Anything but her disappearing, I couldn't take it :)

So you finally submitted it =) I´ll say it again: I Love the excellent idea of the petals flying away, it´s really awesome idea. I still think the bg would be better in color but it works nicely this way. Yeah and I like the current tittle much more than the previous. So again: Fabulous job, and you´re welcome =) though I was absolutely useless.
