Greetings;

To start with the scan was one of the first more 'complex' images that I extracted in my 'newbie' beginnings. Which means I did quite a bit of work on the scan in the end.

As for the wall. I got inspired one lonely night but even though it was lonely I still had this hope inside. So, "I'll wait... Just a little longer." went through my head and a burning desire to create a wall that reflected how I felt. Which was of course abstract at best but cool and calming at the same time.

Which was sometime back in May of '09'. Which that night I got the main 'effect' that I wanted. It took some persistance on my part but I got it done. Even though I started so late and was so so so tired. But my efforts have been off and on for months and I've been pleased with the 3 1/2 month progress. Then around 3 - 4 a.m. I got some fresh eyes on it. From ~Eldarwen.

She's got good eyes. She seen the issue I've been staring at for months. So, with her eyes. I went back to the scan and edited it some more. Taking the 'back' of the skirt off because if you look at it long enough. You'll realize that no skirt that is falling back that far on ones leg is going to 'bunch' that much in the back. It was almost like a train. So, after that I worked with a wing and here we are now. With a few optic twicks here and there. It is finished!

Ended up with just 48 layers. With as many as I had to use or pick from. I though way more. And the song the I listened to when I was making it to begin with to the last night I worked on it. BarlowGirl: I believe in Love.
