While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I don't know why I bothered. T-T...

Anyway, I'm alive and homeless... so yea... *sob* So... yea. Here's my wall and the crappy ripples. My ripples suck and I know it. On the other hand, we should call for a celebration because this is the first sky I've painted in PS =D!!!

w00p! Other resolutions cannot be found anywhere because I'm too lazy. Unless AP does it for me... O_O

Well, you must have heard me asking for a new Gundam Seed Destiny wall.
However I didn't expect it would be this good! If everything I'd ask for would turn out this great I'd better start making a list :D

To the first time I didn't liked the water, but the result is really really good. Maybe I didn't saw, what do you wanted to do. But now, I like the whole wallpaper! :) VA won! XD

There's no question. Your painting rocks :) The sky is gorgeous, and the water looks really nice too. But I gotta wonder if a really big ocean like that could ever be that calm XD

One thing that stands out to me is that your painted style doesn't really blend that well with the scan you chose. Especially comparing the broken column in the foreground to the character, it's a bit disorienting. Perhaps if you added some brushing to the character to give it more a painted style or something to that effect would fix that quite easily.

But that's just something really minor. Otherwise, I'm really liking what you did here. And obviously, props for an awesome Gundam Seed wall WITHOUT Kira in it =P +fav

this is another one of the best submitions of the challenge... that city at the back looks amazing and i love the sky i can really fell the depth in here, although the foreground is a bit poor...

The Harmony with Blue and Purple is Wonderful.
The Pink Cloud Between Blue Sea and Purple Sky is Nice Blending.

Beautiful~ I wonder if you vectored the character, I only ask cause I can't tell at all, the water is so lovely and it's great how her fingertips slightly graze the surface, the clouds are awesome, I think i love the gradation of the orange warm sky to the cooler blue waters. I could go on and on but I'll fave it and shut up

great depth to this piece and love the colors used
must say like the way the cloud reflection turned out and as stated by halcyonTwilight the column in the foreground seems out of place for such a great wallpaper
