After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.
Like what the AP Featured Wallpaper soapbox said, it is simple yet wonderful. I really like this kind of wallpaper, especially simple and white wallpaper. Great vectoring! And this wall will surely go into my fave...
I hate to be the only person to have something "nay" to say about this wall, but there's something important that's not quite right. Eyes are the things that people focus on first, and the left eye kinda bugs me: the bottom rounded corner of the eye, (as opposed to a more squared off corner, with different textures where the lower lash line dissapears behind the ridge of the nose,) is kinda losing the depth that's implied in the original scan.
Having said that I must reaffirm that every other single detail in this wall is beautiful, as many other posters have stated. You have a clear command over whatever editing software you use.
This has to be one of the most fabulous wallpapers i have ever seen which was extracted from a mere scan also only a small part of it...
the sketch looks perfect, so beautiful and offcourse very clean...
i would love to tell you that, (and all AnimePaper members that)
this is a way to show that even sometimes you dont need colors to show your emotions...
thanks a lot for the share.... keep it up...
(+ favorite... obviously )

My first post and I believe this is a great paper to make it on. I just discovered this site, and this is a great one to start off with. Thank you for bringing it to us.
This is just stunning.
You took a beautiful source image, and really made it your own. I like that even though it's a vector (with gradients) it doesn't have that artificial, overly technical feel they often have, the level of detail and subtle shading gives it an almost sketch-like feel. Really beautiful work.
