This wallpaper has been in the works for quite while now. I started working on it back in early April and I just finished it.
I wanted to give this desktop a reflection of the feeling of being in a windy field early at morning, not long after sunrise, and I feel that I accomplished that at least fairly well.
Kaname, Tessa, and Sosuke have all been 100% CG'd by me and the entire image was drawn at a very high resolution - 7950x4968 to be exact. I tried to get all three characters as exact and clean as possible, considering the low resolution and medium quality of the source scan, and I wanted to make another wallpaper available for the super-high-res and widescreen monitor users out there ;)
All work was done in Adobe Photoshop CS on an iMac G5 with a Intuos3 9x12 tablet.
P.S. If anybody doesn't understand why the frontmost layer grass is blurred, it's because I wanted to give a peering-through-the-grass camera focus effect.
