As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

I can never get enough of traditional styles ><.
Been seeing a lot of vector walls on AP...but not as many texture walls (Gankutsuou style maybe?).
I went to the famous Fushimi Inari shrine and decided I wanted to do something with a Torii gate again. Also some influence from shopping for traditional-style bento boxes (omg they're so expensive!).

More res @ Dragonrain!

I love traditional styles as well and the textures you used are so elegant and just to die for!
I think the soft autumn colors are warming and mix well with the fire red in the kimono. I think it's so simplistic, yet detailed just the right amount, it has a sophisticated balance. Very beautiful work and I love the link to the bigger resolution that really closed the deal for me. A++ and a fav. :P

Oh yes, I've been to the Fushimi Inari shrine too and it is one of the coolest places ever. *__*

I love the soft textured traditional style you chose, it's something fresh among all the vectors and such. Thanks for sharing!

I love the textured feel of this wall, and I love the Gankutsuou style.
Although, are those clouds the gate is sitting on?
I kinda wish you used definitively shaped clouds to keep with the collaged style of the paper, but that's a tiny thing.

Wow, I like this very much, the texture is well used, the colors are very nice and the birds are a nice addition. And the simplicity of the wall overall is actually nice. IT think it would fit well as a desktop.

Awesome wall.
The simplicity of the concept blends beautifully with the traditional theme.
Fuuka's expression it's just perfect and I love the way you added the birds
and the shrine, so simple yet so great.
Thumbs up for the patterns and the texture, really one of the most beautiful
wall I've seen on AP in a long time.

The whole oriental style of this wallpaper really sings to my mad Japanese culture obsession. I think what I like best is the stamp style signature! 8D +fav
