Well the concept is pretty cool looking and the use of the sort of car's mirrors is pretty neat.
I like the sort of metalic stuff in the middle.
But indeed the use of different scans could be better looking...
Anyway I think the overall look of the wall is pretty original.
Chaos is all around! :p

Lacks contrast/pop. A decent idea though tessellating like that.

While you say it is just a simple wall, I love the style of it, I'm definitely using this on my computer. And while Near is no L, I still like him, he's under appreciated. The final scene with him and Kira was just one of those holy crap moments.

I don't think I've ever come close to describing a wallpaper or anything with these words before, but I'm going to call this wall "delightfully bizarre" ^^ Kinda reminds me of all those topsy tervy worlds you see on TV, like with the Maze card on CCS? Anyway, really cool
