So, it has come to our attention (Bernouli and I) that we should come out about a secret we have kept for many, many years now. This may be shocking, or not, we don't know, but figure it's best to let everyone know the truth. We are actually brother and sister. Yes, it's the truth. Why haven't we told you guys before? Well, we didn't feel the need to do so. However, now that being siblings on this website is quite a trend it seems, we figured we would join in on the fun. :D
Alright, Bern wants to type something.
YEAH, so brom asked to do this collab and I was like uhm ok 8D I guess we were gonna do one sooner or later living in the same household and everything. I've never seen jigoku shoujo, well I hadn't when we started this wall, which was like a week ago, so I didn't really know what to go on. xD But yeah, like a day or so before finishing it I decided to watch a couple episodes, and omgbbsauce it's awesome! D: *torrented right away* But yeah, hope you guys like the wall, comments critique and favs appreciated as always. Bernie peace out! D: Remember to check out Scenic Competition #6! Free for all! and submit an entry if you're a member! :'D Scenic walls need more luvz!

Okay, time to talk about the process of the actual wallpaper. This is brom by the way. We started out wanting to work on this Jigoku Shoujo scan (thumb below,) and also wanting to make the resolution hugeee, since that also seems to be a trend nowadays. I then vectored the scan, and sent it over to Bern to make paint-y. Somewhere in that process, we thought it'd be an excellent idea to have her drowning underwater, and thus created the ocean like setting you see. Soon after came the fish (which were also snagged from another scan on AP, thumb below) and then the logo and title. It still looked a bit empty, so we figured that we would add some flower-like shapes, that seem to be significant in the actual anime, to the background. Finally, at the last moment, I threw a paint bucket layer of black over the whole thing and it gave the wallpaper a much more dramatic look for what was actually happening. The title comes from Lauryn Hill's song "Just Like Water," from the MTV Unplugged album.
D: Apparently my description wasn't good enough. Bern wants me to add how she stole the hand from another scan because it was covered in the original scan, extended the hair and also created the bubbles. I think that's it.

EDIT: Oh, this is for the FFA for the Scenic group or whatever. I tried joining the group and it didn't work, so yeah. :B

cant trust you ^^.Hahh anyways awesome wallpaper..Really loev the background. Its quite simple yet the vector is awesoms
.But there are many probs in the wallpaper as well.Firstly both the hands of the girl dont look like a hands. After that the fishes right in front of the girl take away the view and tell you the truth the fishes are also now in the main focus.which they arnt supposed to be.And lastly why do fishes look like cardboard chunks!.That makes the wallpaper "not to be put on desktop" but you did a great job with the vectoring.Keep up the great work
