Omg xD here's my first completed attempt at a vector. I've been reading up on how to vector for about a week now and I think I've gotten the hang of it. To commemorate the valentine season, i wanted to make a nice/funny/romance-ish wall and i think this scan was perfect for the job. It's from the Shakugan no Shana Artbook and the scan took me a day and a half to vector. Altogether this wall probably took me a good 2 days. there aren't that many layers since the wall is pretty simple but I think the turn-out is pretty good. Stocks were found on Google. ^^;;;

Awww cute.^.^ I think you ddefiently got what you were going for here. Nice, funny and romantic. The whole concept of this wall is kind-a new to be and the vectoring is awesome. Love teh cut-outs and the sharpie marker. =} Very cute and well-done.^^

Love the idea, awesome-ly executed!
The only thing I can spot is maybe the pen and scissors could have a bit of shadow on the table - but that's really minor.
I know what you mean by vectoring, I'm working on my first vector and have been tearing my hair out having to read tutes where everyone says different things and it's not like you can just read-and-apply like with photoshop tutes.
Congrats for a nice one - long hours and effort pays off :)

Wow, now this is original. Really interesting idea. The vector could use some more work and the overall quality isn't that great but, like I just said, this is ingenious XD

Really awesome, it being your first completed vector. I couldn't draw like that in my lifetime. :P The idea is cute too, got me laughing a bit. The only problem is that the Sharpie pen and the scissors might be a bit too real to fit nicely into the picture. Yeah, definitely the scissors look really sharp, but for the most part, it's awesome and nicely done.

I just laughed when I saw this image, you did a really good job on this. It's so origional too! I love the layout and how you cut the characters from paper. You did a really good job making that believeable. I also like how you incorperated real world objects into the image. One thing I may suggest is a little tweaking on your vector. I am not familiar with your source scan, but the character's hair on the left is a bit angular, especially towards the bottom. It's not very much, but I do think it would polish this up nicely.
