This pic is repeated relatively several times like in the ending of gundam seed and this wall has been made several times with different graphics and techniques and i think yours is good with the galaxy background
Even tho you know there is nothing you can do, but you can't just sit and watch, saying that there is nothing you can do and therefore not going to do anything. You won't achieve anything and nothing will change...

Text is the thing that needs a tweak. I'd suggest altering the edge effect to smooth or similar, as the edges are a bit aliased at the mo.

Lacus looks fine but kira need a bit adjustment maybe you could add brightness on it, and maybe you should avoid using dark colour on the background maybe blue or purple will do the trick
